Epernay

Looking out into the courtyard of the B&B we stayed in.
Rue de Champagne

We stayed in a delightful B & B for three nights where we had access to a Renault Clio electric car.   The first day we walked Rue de Champagne,  enjoyed a tour of Moet & Chandon and delicious pizza in the B & B courtyard and discussed the 10 champagnes we had sampled.  On the second day Roy got behind the wheel of the Clio and we visited Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers where Dom Perignon is buried, the village and Cathedrale Saint Etienne, Chalons-en-Champagne enjoying the drive through the gorgeous french country side.  The parking meters were in Dutch, English, French & German which prevented a parking ticket!
